Caudalie Resveratrol- Lift (Face Lifting Moisturizer): Skincare Review

No matter how dry or oily our skin is, it still benefits greatly from a good moisturizer.  We must understand how to apply moisturizer for various skin types in order to achieve the best results.  Many of us are certain that we should always know how to spend money on a quality moisturizer.

While I was looking for a good moisturizer, my workplace gave me a beauty kit which included the Caudalie Resveratrol Face Lifting Moisturizer as a thank you for the excellent work I contributed to the company. I was pleased and excited to use it.

Caudalie claims that this product is a unique anti-wrinkle association.  The natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid in skin cells is increased by combining microhyaluronic acids with resveratrol from the vine.  In a single step, this oil-free SPF20 moisturizer reddens skin and smoothes wrinkles.  The complexion seems younger and plumper.

I received this product through our company as it was given to me in appreciation of my good work. The employees in our company are mostly women, so we also receive mostly female-oriented awards aside from certificates. I found it amusing that what they gave me is a beauty kit, which I truly like because I have an interest in such items.

I am familiar with Caudalie because I know that those items are expensive, and I always overlook them in the store since I do not prefer to purchase costly beauty products that may not suit my skin, as that has happened to me many times before. I have experienced purchasing beauty items only to use them once due to negative reactions on my skin. Nonetheless, this is different because it was given to me, but I am hopeful that it will be effective on my face.

When I used the product, I initially thought it was meant to be applied at night because it has a face lifting effect, and I was concerned that my skin might become too sensitive to the sun if I used it in the morning. However, upon reading the instructions, I was surprised to find that it is actually meant to be applied every morning and comes with SPF20 to protect the skin from the sun's heat. I used it before putting on makeup. It absorbed quickly into my skin because it has a very liquid consistency. I also didn’t feel any oiliness, so it suits me well as it feels very lightweight on my face. I only applied additional sunblock because I was a bit concerned about getting darker, as I understand that resveratrol can be sensitive to sunlight. Therefore, for double protection, I added sunblock with a higher SPF.

After several days of use, it has been satisfactory for me. I did not experience any negative reactions on my face. My skin did feel a bit softer, but I did not notice a reduction in wrinkles or if my face appeared lifted since my wrinkles have not become very prominent yet. I also find it difficult to understand or describe its scent, which is somewhat disturbing to my senses.

For me, this product is really great if you have a big budget because it’s quite expensive, when I checked online it’s around $50-$60. It’s probably better to use it before wrinkles start to show to prevent them. I haven’t noticed much on my face since I don’t have a lot of wrinkles yet, and I feel like it will be harder to reduce them once they’re more noticeable, so I think it’s better to use this while you’re a young adult.
