Hey Honey Open Your Eyes Lifting Eye Serum: Skincare Review

Compared to the rest of our face, the under eyes demand a little more attention because they are the most fragile and susceptible skin area. Investing in an eye-lifting serum can be necessary if we're experiencing more noticeable fine lines and wrinkles as well as a lack of firmness around the eye contour. Fortunately, I found Hey Honey's Open Your Eyes Lifting Eye Serum through my subscription box.

According to Hey Honey, this light fluid revitalizes the appearance of your entire eye contour to deliver a bright, rested look. It wakes your eyes up by reducing puffiness, providing hydration, and tightening the skin, effectively minimizing the appearance of fine lines for a visibly lifted effect. It also doubles as under-eye concealer primer which strengthens skin collagen and increases antioxidant production to repair and protect delicate eye area from fast aging signs.

I'm not really fond of using eye care products, so I rarely buy them. This product, however, came with my subscription box, so I had a chance to try it. Honestly, I don't have much eye bags, so I haven't really used products like this. But because I'm getting older and they say the skin around the eyes thins out, they say it's really necessary for someone to use eye care products.

I'm not sure where this brand came from, but I feel like it's from Korea. It's similar to the products I've bought that are made in Korea, so that's just my gut feeling. The packaging of this product is also good, it's thin especially the tip, so it shouldn't be crushed by heavy things because the tube's tip might break. I saw the price on Hey Honey's website and I can say that this product is really expensive, it's $37. Honestly, I was surprised by the price of this because it's expensive for such a thin product, but maybe the price is high because of the effect it can give to the skin around the eyes.

When it comes to the effectiveness of the product, actually, I couldn't see any difference after using it for a few weeks. When I first started using it, the skin around my eyes got a bit itchy. I thought it was just an allergy, but it didn't turn red or swell, so I continued using it. Then after a few days, the itching stopped, but I still didn't see any changes. Maybe because my skin around my eyes isn't that bad, I really didn't see any changes. I just continued using it before going to bed. I was expecting my undereye area to become firmer, but I didn't really notice if there was any difference.

For me, perhaps trying this product once is enough because it is expensive and I haven't seen any noticeable changes. There are other more affordable products of this kind, so I will try those alternatives next time. I cannot recommend it because it is expensive and the effects are not immediately visible.
