Nichido Final Powder: Makeup Review

Since I've been searching for a loose setting powder that I can use anywhere for a while, I went to Watsons to see what products would work best for me. Although I'm not a huge fan of Nichido, I'm willing to use items from any brand, so when I spotted the Nichido Final Powder, I bought it right away.

 According to Nichido, this is an all-time favoriteproduct. It is ultra fine, smooth and silky powder that enhances the look of our foundation or powder and set our make up for a lasting wear. It blurs and minimizes the appearance of fine lines that makes our skin photo ready.

Apply the powder over your foundation and concealer, starting from the T-zone and moving to the rest of your face.

Talc; Kaolin; Magnesium Carbonate; Zinc Stearate; Bismuth Oxychloride; Mica; Methylparaben; Propylparaben; Perfume. May Contain: +/- CI 77492; CI 77491; CI 77499; CI 12085.

There are five shades available for this product, and I chose the Pink Glow shade because I believed it would draw attention to my cheekbones and make my face appear somewhat pinker. For the same reason, I opted to use a powder to retain or reduce the greasy look of my face because I also have oily skin that gets oily even after an hour in the heat with makeup on. Although there is a cushion included with the product, I still think using a brush will allow me to get the most out of the powder. Thus, I also purchased a basic brush from the same booth. 

Compared to all the other branded loose powder I have tested, this product is far less expensive. It is rather reasonably priced at PHP 203 and has a substantial lifespan. Since I have been using it for about two months, I can honestly say that it is well worth the cost. One of the things I particularly enjoy about the package is that it looks basic but classy. I only have to open the top carefully to avoid wasting the powder.

In addition to being reasonably priced, the product's quality is excellent. It reminds me of upscale finishing powders. It smells really mild, but it also did a great job setting the face. It doesn't cause any cakiness and feels really light on my face. I also observed a hint of sheerness about it. Although the coverage is not comparable to that of compact powders, it works best when applied after foundation. I always check my face in the mirror after a workday to see if anything unpleasant has happened, so I was taken aback to notice that the powder had maintained my skin looking dewy. It gives a dewy sheen without appearing too greasy, which I like. I guess the sheer had this effect on my skin. All day long, I didn't even apply any retouches. 

To everyone searching for a setting powder on a low budget, like myself, I heartily suggest this. One jar of this product lasts for several months, so it's well worth the purchase and will save a lot of money. It's ideal for people who only want natural-looking skin but want to reduce the greasy appearance of their face because it doesn't provide much coverage and isn't very apparent. Without a doubt, I'll buy it again in the future.
